They were hard to click
When you're making buttons from text, make a new layer underneath them and make a rectangle, oval, whatever that rests underneath the text. Then delete the outline and click on the fill. On your color panel, set the alpha to 0% (it's invisible now). This way, the button is easier to click.
Not bad, but could use more questions. Waiting a couple days is... boring, if only for a couple questions.
Thanks for the great advice, I will actually use this technique. Also, next one will probably have 15 questions, thanks.
It was okay
The platforms were weird. I didn't like how I couldn't see Megaman's knees because his feet "sank" into the platform. It would be nice to have him rest directly on the platform rather than in it.
OK, but too easy
It definitely needs some work, like including numbers to indicate how much damage your hero does.
Also, if the guy doesn't move at all, there's no point in showing him except for combat.
Keep this in mind: Nearly 0% of all people who play your game will keep track of it in the long run. In other words, Even though you say "I will add more later," nobody is going to see it. The best thing to do is to submit a completed game so it gets good reviews coming onto the portal and possibly even a reward o.O
Besides, it's kinda lame to see an unfinished animation, if you know what I mean.
Game was too easy when you can tab through to find "Sticky."
how do u disable tab~?
Did you base this game off the book "Flatland," by Edwin A. Abbott?
I actually did this in one sitting. Took a few hours, but not entirely impossible.
Good game, but is too straightforward. Needs something more than mindless slaying.
Please include instructions.
Nice artwork. My only graphics suggestion is to make the button look better and stationary so I don't have to chase it down when I want to advance frames.
Some of the text was a little hard to read too. Maybe that's just my eyesight, but it looked small.
Polish it and you're golden
I cant Polish. so im sry i cant make it.... but thx for the overall Rating :)
It wasn't terrible...
But you needed a few more things:
A higher fps (frames per second), because this was really slow and choppy,
More actions (ie. spin move, jump, etc.)
Yeah that's it.
Excellent, but I have to make a few suggestions:
1. Change of music/Turn sounds on and off
2. More upgrades, ie. Get gold when your soldiers kill a guy, add more soldiers, etc.
3. Possibly a larger variety of enemies, maybe in the later levels (18-24 and such).
I really enjoyed this game. I find it a bit redundant to state its good parts, so here are the few things I suggest.
Excellent work :)
